Tamara Cincik

Tamara is a UCL graduate and has 20 years experience working in the fashion industry, as a fashion editor and brand consultant, as well as uniquely working in Parliament. She is the secretariat for the only two All-Party Parliamentary Groups for the fashion and textile industry, the APPG for Textiles and Fashion and the APPG for Ethics and Sustainability in Fashion, acting as the bridge between fashion and policy. Tamara is a Commissioner for the UK Trade and Business Commission.
Karen Binns
Fashion Director
Karen has worked in the fashion industry for over 20 years, beginning her career as muse to legendary artist Jean Michel Basquiat, and working across fashion, celebrity and music in the States, Europe and now based in London. Karen sits on the British Fashion Council’s Diversity Steering Group.
Navjyot Lehl
Political Expert
Navjyot is a graduate of LSE and has worked at the Houses of Parliament for two MPs, backbencher Glenda Jackson and front bencher Seema Malhotra Chair of Fabian Women during her time as Shadow Chief Secretary to the Treasury. Nav is now part of the team at the leading think tank UK In A Changing Europe, which focuses on European and UK relations.
Professor Swati Dhingra

Swati is Associate Professor of Economics at the London School of Economics, researching globalisation and industrial policy. She is coauthor of the recent “Life after Brexit” report published by the LSE’s Centre for Economic Performance.
Davina Appiagyei
Policy Researcher
Davina is passionate about social justice and policy reform. She studied Politics and Economics BSc at University of Southampton, and then International Development MSc at UCL. She has worked with the Ghana Ministry of Gender with the Human Trafficking Secretariat, and trained under the UN Chair of the Convention on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women on Human Rights Law.
Clare Press

Sydney-based British fashion journalist Clare Press is presenter of the Wardrobe Crisis podcast, and was Vogue Australia’s Sustainability Editor-at-Large. Clare sits on the advisory boards of Fashion Revolution and Copenhagen Fashion Week, and is a Global Ambassador for the Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s Make Fashion Circular.

Sally has worked as an art director and designer on titles such as Vogue and The Telegraph, across fashion and beauty, culture and lifestyle.

Lottie is the editor of our weekly newsletter — she commissions topical stories on everything from sustainability to diversity and inclusion in the fashion industry. She is a freelance journalist and disability activist with bylines for publications such as The Sunday Times, The Guardian, British Vogue and ELLE.
Hilary Marsh

Hilary has worked in policy, gender equality, sustainability, and fashion creative as part of roles in UK parliament, the UN, and the fashion and clothing sector. A Human Rights LLM graduate with a dedication to using policy to improve the fashion industry.
Fjolla Kondirolli

Fjolla is a PhD student in Economics at the University of Sussex, and works as a research assistant at the London School of Economics. She also has a Masters in Public Administration from Cornell University.
