Help to Grow
Please see information below on the Help to Grow: Digital scheme. Due to launch in December, the scheme will provide SMEs with learning content around digital adoption, and a voucher offering a 50% discount on productivity-enhancing software.
Help to Grow: Digital - Key Information
· This December, the government will launch a new online platform where businesses can access advice on software that could help them save time and money while running their businesses, and a voucher to discount software.
· The new platform will help businesses to understand the benefits of different types of software and identify which could help deliver their business goals. Support will be provided through interactive tools and technology-specific guides.
· Through the platform, eligible businesses will be able to access a voucher providing up to 50% discount on the costs of buying new software, worth up to £5,000 a year per business. The voucher is expected to be available to UK businesses that have more than 5 and fewer than 249 employees and that have been trading for more than 12 months. Full eligibility criteria for businesses will be published in due course.
· Eligible small businesses will be able to use the voucher on approved software that could help them save time and money, and grow faster. Vouchers are expected to be available for software that helps businesses:
o Build customer relationships and increase sales
o Make the most of selling online
o Manage their accounts and finances digitally.
· Help to Grow: Digital could help 100,000 businesses adopt new digital technologies over three years. Businesses can register their interest now at www.gov.uk/helptogrow.
