What's the roadmap for lifting lockdown in England?

The prime minister announced last night that the next step of the reopening roadmap, step 2, can take place as planned on 12 April. So non-essential retail, personal care, and outdoor hospitality amongst other things can reopen from that date. Read the announcement here.

 

The PM also announced an expansion of the testing programme, with everyone in England able to apply for testing kits to be used twice weekly at home. Read more here.
