Our researcher William Wall presents a roundup of the week’s fashion and politics headlines — including the news that Gucci is teaming up with augmented reality (AR) fashion platform ‘Wanna’ to expand further into the digital space, and have started selling a pair of virtual trainers for $12. Designed by creative director Alessandro Michele, the trainer is the first original digital product from Belarus-based Wanna, which specialises in using AR to create 3D models for digital fittings of sneakers and watches.
