I hope this email finds you well.

I am writing to express my disappointment towards the government’s response to the Environmental Audit Committee’s Fixing Fashion Report.

Although the response highlighted what the government is currently doing, it was evident from the Inquiry that it is not enough. The government is promising change but appears to be very hesitant in outlining how change will be achieved, and as a voter I would like more clarity and more commitment from the policy makers who are meant to represent my interests.

As (a consumer of/ part of the workforce for) the fashion industry, I would like to see plans and targets which are specific to the industry, that directly address the social and environmental impacts generated by the fashion industry.

Thank you very much and I am very curious to see what changes will follow from the Fixing Fashion Report.
